Co-creating
the Mythology
of Liminal
Spaces
About:
A liminal space is a place of transition and not knowing. You let go of what no longer fits you but don’t know what’s next yet. It’s unsettling, weird even, but also liberating and transformative.
Plantishead came to wonder: like the Library of Babylon, what heresies, cults and myths, what creatures inhabit liminal spaces? We believe we are all alone between what was and what will be: but are we really?
This is not the promise of the future, nor is it clinging to the past. Plantishead is the exploration of the limbo state, the in-between. We invite ‘the sensitive, the considerate and the plucky’ to find each other here, to explore the mythology of liminal spaces together.
Plucky — or brave, if you will, — is an important word here.
This is not a hiding place. We didn’t escape here. We came to find
ourselves. We came to find each other. We came to meet and embrace
the creatures this space has birthed, and listen to their stories.
Someday they will ask for our stories too. Plantishead invites you
to fill these creatures with plants and flowers, bringing the sense
of transition into your homes and third spaces.
